Traditional Color Portraits

Drawing someone's portrait is not an easy task. As humans, constantly looking at other humans, we're very sensitive to the subtle nuances of each person's face.

Because of this, you not only have to be very accurate with proportions, shading, etc., you also have to capture what makes this person different than everyone else, and convey a particular emotion at the same time.

Doing it in color adds yet another layer of difficulty, but can really bring a portrait to life.
